Rochdale: Stephen Dawson and Tom Kennedy offered new deals

Stephen Dawson joined Rochdale from Barnsley last summer

Rochdale have offered new contracts to midfielder Stephen Dawson and defender Tom Kennedy, as well as taking up the option on full-back Andy Cannon.

Dawson and Kennedy, both 29, are out of contract this summer while Cannon, 19, has impressed in his debut season.

Febian Brandy, Sean McGinty and Jack Muldoon have all been released after their deals expired.

Bastien Hery and Joel Logan have been placed on the transfer list whilst the rest of the squad are under contract.

Despite the 5-0 loss at Barnsley on the final day of the season Rochdale finished eighth in League One, their highest ever finish in the Football League.
