Tom Barkhuizen: Morecambe sign ex-Blackpool winger

Tom Barkhuizen has left Blackpool, who were relegated from the Championship in 2014-15

Morecambe have signed winger Tom Barkhuizen on a two-year deal.

Barkhuizen, 21, had a loan spell with the Shrimps last season and has joined after being released by Blackpool.

"I was really impressed with Tom when he was with us last season on loan," said Shrimps manager Jim Bentley. "He has a lot to offer."

Midfielder Charlie Bailey, 17, and striker Jack Kelleher, 18, have signed their first professional deals with the League Two club.
