Ten-man Alloa secured their Scottish Championship status with a three-goal victory over Forfar at Recreation Park.

Alloa took the lead right on half-time when Michael Chopra turned in Liam Buchanan's cross.

And, the hosts levelled the tie 3-3 on aggregate after a mix-up between goalkeeper Rab Douglas and Darren Dods allowed Buchanan to score.

Their hopes were hit when Graeme Holmes was red carded, but Daryll Meggatt headed in a late corner to win it.
