Partick Thistle have completed the permanent signing of left-back Callum Booth from Hibernian and handed winger Christie Elliott a new contract.

Booth moved to Firhill on loan in January as Hibs signed Keith Watson from Dundee United.

But, after 12 first-team appearances for Thistle, the 23-year-old has agreed a one-year contract.

Englishman Elliott, also 23, who signed in 2011 after leaving Whitley Bay, has agreed a new two-year deal.

The former Northern Football League Division One player has since made 124 first-team appearances and scored 14 goals.

Booth had arrived at Firhill despite failing to become a first-team regular despite Hibs' relegation from the Scottish Premiership.

He had spent spells on loan to Arbroath, Brechin City, Livingston and Raith Rovers.

However, he solved a problem for Thistle manager Alan Archibald, who had struggled to find a left-back specialist.
