Scott Wiseman: Scunthorpe United sign Preston defender

Scott Wiseman started his career with Hull City

Scunthorpe have signed Preston defender Scott Wiseman on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old Gibraltar international made 35 appearances for the Lilywhites this season as they won promotion from League One through the play-offs.

He is the second Preston player to move to the Iron this week after midfielder Jack King joined on Tuesday.

Scunthorpe boss Mark Robins told the club website: "He's a versatile player and can play in a number of different positions which is important."
