Partick Thistle: Sean Welsh signs short-term deal

Welsh joined Partick Thistle following his release from Hibernian

Sean Welsh has agreed a short-term deal at Partick Thistle as the midfielder bids to prove that his recent injury worries are behind him.

The 25-year-old featured in just three games last season, the most recent outing coming in January.

Welsh, who has signed a contract until the end of August, joined the Jags in the summer of 2012 after a loan spell from Hibernian.

He captained the club following their promotion to the top flight in 2013.
