Christian Ribeiro: Defender signs new deal with Exeter City

Christian Ribeiro scored twice in 39 appearances for Exeter City last season

Exeter City defender Christian Ribeiro has signed a new contract to stay with the League Two side.

Ribeiro, who can play as either a full-back or centre-half, made 39 appearances for Exeter last season, having signed a one-year deal following his release by Scunthorpe United.

Details of the 25-year-old's contract extension have not been disclosed.

"I'm really pleased that Christian is on board for next season," manager Paul Tisdale told the club website.

"He enjoyed a very good first season with us and added a presence both on and off the pitch."
