The New Saints (TNS) will play B36 Torshavn of the Faroe Islands in the Champions League first qualifying round.

TNS are away on 30 June, with the second leg played on 7 July.

In the Europa League first qualifying round draw, Airbus UK Broughton take on Lokomotiva Zagreb of Croatia, Newtown face Valletta of Malta and Bala play Luxembourg's FC Differdange.

The two legs will be played on 2 and 9 July.

If the Welsh trio get through to the second qualifying round, Newtown will face FC Copenhagen of Denmark, Bala will play Turkish side Trabzonspor and Airbus will be up against PAOK FC of Greece.

Airbus director of football Andy Preece says his club has been dealt a tough draw against Lokomotiva who finished fourth in the Croatian League in 2014-15.

"It's just a bad draw for us all round," said Preece.

"There is a very, very remote chance of us progressing any further."

Bala have an excellent opportunity to qualify for the Europa League second round qualifier to play Trabzonspor according to the club secretary Ruth Crump.

"We are delighted, absolutely delighted with the draw," said Crump.

"They're a team [Differdange] similar to ourselves - semi pro.

"So yes I definitely think we've got a chance here."

TNS, who won the Welsh domestic treble in 2014-15, will have to progress through three qualifying rounds and a play-off, if they are to reach the group stages of the Champions League for the first time.

If the Saints get past the Faroese side they will take on Hungarian side Videoton FC in the second qualifying round.
