Wolves striker Nouha Dicko has signed a new three-year deal keeping him at Molineux until the summer of 2018.

The Mali international, 23, has scored 28 goals in 59 games since a permanent move from Wigan in January 2014.

Dicko, Wolves' joint top scorer last season, told the club website:, external "I feel good at Wolves and I'm really happy here so I'm delighted I'll be staying.

"The crowd is fantastic - last season it was the best in the Championship so it's been a joy to play for the fans."

The club has also confirmed Dicko will wear the number nine shirt next season, replacing Leon Clarke who joined Bury in June.

"I'm really proud to wear this number. I've always loved the number nine since I was a child," he added.

"To be able to wear the 'nine' at a club like Wolves is a good achievement and hopefully I will be more than ready to do it justice."
