Wrexham striker Louis Moult is having a medical at Motherwell ahead of a possible move to the Scottish Premiership club.

The 23-year-old was the Welsh club's top scorer in 2014-15 and signed a fresh one-year deal under former manager Kevin Wilkin in March, 2015.

Wilkin's successor Gary Mills said the two clubs had agreed a fee for the former Northampton player.

Moult joined the Dragons from Nuneaton Town in June 2014.

Mills is hoping to sign another player within the next twenty four hours if Moult's transfer to Motherwell is completed.

"Louis had a good season last season, he's got to be replaced by someone who can score the same amount of goals as Louis did," Mills said.

Mills has signed nine new players since he succeeded Wilkin in April.
