Rotherham United have appointed Eric Black as their new first team coach.

The 51-year-old former Coventry and Motherwell boss left Wigan at the end of last season.

He has previously spent time on the coaching staff at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Blackburn.

Millers boss Steve Evans said: "He has a wealth of experience and knowledge as a coach from a career spanning over 20 years and will have a major part to play at Rotherham going forward."
