Reda Johnson: Sky Blues defender signs one-year deal

Coventry City defender Reda Johnson has signed a new one-year deal at the League One club, keeping him with the Sky Blues for the forthcoming season.
The 27-year-old made 22 appearances last term scoring six goals after joining from Sheffield Wednesday.
"I see Reda as a crucial part of our plans going forward," Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray told the club's website., external
"He stands out at this level and, at the end of last season, our defence was much improved with him in the side."
Johnson's deal comes after Coventry City signed former Wolves captain Sam Ricketts on a one-year contract on Monday.
After beginning his career as a trainee with Amiens, Johnson signed for Plymouth before joining Wednesday, where he made 87 appearances.
