Pre-season friendly: Shrewsbury Town 2-2 Cardiff City

James Collins' 85th minute strike earned Shrewsbury Town a 2-2 draw against Cardiff City at the Greenhous Meadow Stadium.

Cardiff had fallen behind to a Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro penalty, before Joe Mason levelled from close range.

Anthony Pilkington curled a low free-kick home to put City ahead, before Collins' late equaliser.

Meanwhile a Cardiff XI, which included goalkeeper David Marshall, beat Carmarthen Town 1-0.

Dylan Rees scored the only goal of the game at Richmond Park in the 11th minute.
