Cox who took over at Plainmoor last month, says there could be more additions before the weekend.

"I'd like to think even before Saturday there might be four," he said.

Cox has so far brought in Exodus Geohaghon,Waide Fairhurst, Shepherd Murombedzi, Dan Butler,Tyrone Marsh and James Hurst.

"I've looked at the squad, I've been very patient," he added.

"I've seen where I think we need strengthening and now is the time to act so I've got a bit of time to bed people in.

"It's more or less down the spine of the side where I think we need strengthening, not just with better players, but players with a bit more about them mentally and character-wise."

Fenwick has impressed Gulls director of football Dean Edwards since joining in pre-season.

"He has an excellent pedigree from his time at Crystal Palace and we are delighted to bring him on board to help him develop and improve our squad," Edwards told the club website., external

"Paul Cox has been impressed by his range of passing and his attitude and now he is looking for him to really kick-on with us and show what he is capable of."
