Maikel Kieftenbeld: Birmingham City sign Dutch midfielder

Kieftenbeld has clocked up 210 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie with Go Ahead Eagles and Groningen
Birmingham City have signed Dutch midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld from Groningen for an undisclosed fee.
Blues have reportedly triggered a release clause to make the 25-year-old Groningen captain their fourth summer signing for a fee of around £180,000.
Kieftenbeld has signed a three-year deal with the Championship club.
Blues, who finished 12th under Gary Rowett last term, have already signed another midfielder Jacques Maghoma from Sheffield Wednesday.
They have also signed two goalkeepers, Adam Legzdins and Tomasz Kuszczak.
