Derry City have signed St Patrick's Athletic midfielder Conor McCormack and former Spurs player Aaron NcEneff ahead of the league game against Longford.

McCormick joins City until the end of the season while fellow midfielder McEneff has penned an 18-month deal.

They will be hoping to help end Derry's run of 12 leagues games without a win.

City are two from bottom in the table and desperately need points if they are to avoid being involved in the end-of-season promotion-relegation play-off.

Candystripes boss Peter Hutton has now signed four players in the last three weeks.

The versatile McCormack and 20-year-old McEneff join recent arrivals Mark Quigley and Rob Cornwall at the Brandywell.

They will be hoping to help end Derry's run of 12 leagues games without a win.

Longford, seven points better off than Derry and in sixth place, come to the Brandywell seeking a first win in four.

Manager Hutton, who this week saw defender Shane McEleney depart for St Pat's, said he had a full-strength squad for Friday's game.

"Longford are a decent side with experienced players," he said.

"But we should have enough to get the three points and make up ground on teams above us like Longford and Galway."
