Glenavon followed up their mauling of Ballymena with a win over

Glenavon ran out easy winners to leave Warrenpoint without a point after three matches in the Irish Premiership.

The opener came in the 21st minute when Kevin Braniff's cross was diverted past keeper Jonathan Parr by home defender Mark Clarke for an own goal.

Striker Eoin Bradley made it 2-0 early in the second half when he ran through to slot a low shot past Parr.

Young winger Joel Cooper capped a fine display by scoring his first goal for the club 18 minutes from time.

So, another convincing win for Glenavon, coming after Wednesday's 7-1 demolition of Ballymena United.

Warrenpoint will regret not taking their early chances at Milltown.

Daniel Hughes, played through by his brother Stephen, was thwarted by keeper Jonathan Tuffey when put through.

The same player also struck the post with a half-volley.
