Northampton extend Darnell Furlong & Shaun Brisley loans

Northampton Town have extended the loan deals of defenders Darnell Furlong and Shaun Brisley until 14 November.

Full-back Furlong, 19, has made six appearances since joining the League Two side from QPR.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Peterborough United centre-back Brisley has also made six appearances since his move, scoring in the 3-2 win over Wycombe.

Both loans had been due to expire following Saturday's home League Two match against Hartlepool.
