Liam Trotter: Bolton Wanderers midfielder joins Nottingham Forest

Liam Trotter has scored two goals in 35 appearances for Bolton Wanderers

Nottingham Forest have signed Liam Trotter from Championship rivals Bolton on a one-month loan.

Forest manager Dougie Freedman had claimed on Wednesday that a move for the 27-year-old was "dead" due to a "technical issue".

The former Millwall midfielder has made 35 appearances for the Trotters since joining from the Lions on an initial-loan deal in January 2014.

Trotter could make his debut when Forest host Ipswich on Saturday.
