Brackley Town 2-2 Newport County

Curtis McDonald's late header earned National League North side Brackley Town an FA Cup first round replay against League Two Newport County.

Lennell John-Lewis's penalty gave Newport the lead after he had been fouled by Pablo Mills.

Scott Bennett rode a number of tackles to finish off a fine run to double the lead.

Luke Graham's header made it 2-1 before ex-County player McDonald's header in stoppage time secured a replay.

The replay will be played at Rodney Parade on Tuesday, 17 November.

Brackley Town manager Kevin Wilkin told BBC's Final Score:

"It was 2-0 at half-time and a bit of a struggle for us. But with the wind to our backs, we made one or two changes and made life difficult for them by getting a goal.

"The lads kept going and showing that bit of desire … we've got another chance at it now.

"It's fantastic for everybody in the town to enjoy that fightback and we look forward to the replay."
