Wales Under-16 have retained the Victory Shield with a 3-1 win against Northern Ireland.

Goals from Sion Spence, Rabbi Matonda and Steffan Buckeley secured victory at Newport's Dragon Park.

The tournament hosts lost 2-1 to Scotland on Sunday, but defeated Republic of Ireland 2-1 on Tuesday.

The Republic replaced England in the Victory Shield after the Football Association decided to opt out in April 2014.
