Cardiff City striker Idriss Saadi says he expects to be out of action for six weeks after tearing his hamstring.

The 23-year-old made his Bluebirds debut on Saturday, coming off the bench for the final 13 minutes of the 2-0 win over Reading.

Saadi joined Cardiff from French second division side Clermont Foot in August.

France Under-19 international Saadi is of Algerian descent and started his career at St Etienne.
