Wales Sport Awards: Cardiff to host FA Cup third-round draw

The FA Cup third-round draw will be hosted at the Wales Sport Awards, external in Cardiff on Monday, 7 December.

The draw will be presented by Mark Chapman live on BBC Two and BBC Two Wales at 19:00 GMT.

The Wales Sport Awards, held at Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff, will be live on the BBC Wales Sport website at 20:00 GMT and will also be available on the red button and BBC iPlayer.

Swansea City and Cardiff City enter the FA Cup at the third-round stage.

"The draw for the third round of the FA Cup is always one of the most anticipated and iconic occasions of the football season, and we're absolutely delighted to welcome this prestigious event to Wales," said BBC Cymru Wales' head of sport, Geoff Williams.

Sport Wales chief executive Sarah Powell said: "On a night when we celebrate the very best of elite and grassroots sport in Wales it is a privilege to be able to host the FA Cup third-round draw at the home of Welsh sport."

The evening will include the announcement of the BBC Cymru Wales Sports Personality of 2015.
