Welling United 0-5 Carlisle United

Charlie Wyke scored a hat-trick as Carlisle eased past 10-man Welling to reach the FA Cup third round.

Wyke found the bottom corner to open the scoring and Jabo Ibehre's shot was then deflected in off Anthony Sweeney.

Michael McEntegart saved Danny Grainger's penalty after Zach Fagan caught Ibehre, but Grainger scored his second attempt when Harry Osborne saw red for fouling Sweeney inside the box,

Wyke tapped in a rebound before making it 5-0 from Patrick Brough's cross.

National League side Welling failed to muster a shot on target, but had penalty appeals from George Porter and Michael Bakare turned down by referee Simon Hooper.

Wyke, meanwhile, has now scored six goals in the last three games for the Cumbrian side, and eight overall this season.
