  1. Few shocks, but still some hopepublished at 16:45

We didn't have quite as many magical FA Cup stories as we were hoping for this weekend, but for non-league Whitehawk, Salford FC and Eastleigh the dream of a third-round tie against one of football's giants is still alive.

I'm afraid that's all we've got time for this afternoon, but thank you for keeping us company.

Grimsby v Shrewsbury (Monday, 19:45 GMT)

This is not quite the last of the second round ties as National League side Grimsby face Shrewsbury tomorrow.

The Mariners sit fourth in the fifth tier and face a side two divisions above them.

With the third-round draw being made just before the game, they will already know what the prize of winning will be.

Jordan Rose, Whitehawk's goalscorer, was born in Southampton and on Saints’ books as a 12-year-old before moving to France.

He then joined Bournemouth as a youth trainee for two years – playing in the same youth team as Sam Vokes and Josh McQuoid – but was released at the age of 18.

He’s since played for Salisbury City, Bashley, Brockenhurst, Weymouth, Paulton Rovers, Bath City, Stockport, Eastleigh, Hereford, Hayes & Yeading, AFC Telford, Alfreton, Tamworth and now Whitehawk.

His header helps the sixth-tier side into the third round draw.

  13. The full-time whistlepublished at 16:08

Well, we love a bit of late drama in the FA Cup don't we!

Away from Whitehawk's dramatic last-minute equaliser at Dagenham and Redbridge, there was heartbreak for Altrincham who lost 3-2 at Colchester after Callum Harriot's winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

There was another shock in Devon as League Two Exeter City beat League One Port Vale 2-0.

Sadly, for Chesham United and Welling fans, there was no fairytale as they both suffered heavy defeats against Bradford and Carlisle respectively.

Forest Green Rovers are also out after a 1-0 defeat by Oxford United thanks to a late Kemar Roofe goal.

    Dag and Red 1-1 Whitehawk

The Whitehawk players celebrate with their jubilant fans at the final whistle after securing a much deserved draw.

Jamie Cureton's strike four minutes into the match looked to have been enough to send Dagenham into the FA Cup third round but Wayne Burnett's side long wait for a first home victory of the season goes on.

Having dominated large parts of the second half, the Hawks left it until the final seconds of the match to grab their equaliser as defender Jordan Rose scored his first goal of the season.

Sam Deering has delivered cross after cross into the Dagenham box to little avail this afternoon but with seconds left in the match, Jordan Rose rises highest through a sea of players to head the ball into the back of the net to send the away fans into delirium.

Sam Deering's pass into the box is missed by three Whitehawk players, when the faintest of touches would have almost certainly have seen the ball nestle into the back of the net. It is just not the visitors day.

What a finish. Absolutely brilliant technique, the keeper has no chance. I don't know how Lee Sinnott is going to pick his players up."
