Dagenham & Redbridge beat non-league Whitehawk after extra time to secure an FA Cup third-round tie at Everton.

Ayo Obileye's 100th-minute header sent the League Two club through at the end of a pulsating second-round replay.

Danny Mills nodded in to put National League South side Whitehawk ahead but Kyle Vassell levelled for the visitors with a powerful shot before half-time.

Josh Passley's goal was cancelled out in second-half stoppage time by Whitehawk sub Juan Cruz Gotta.

Having gone in front for the second time through Obileye, Dagenham had to survive a nervy final five minutes of extra time after midfielder James Dunne was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

But goalkeeper Mark Cousins was on hand to parry a late right-footed half-volley from Mills behind for a corner.

The two sides met at The Enclosed Ground after the first match finished 1-1, a game in which Whitehawk also equalised with seconds remaining.

However, Steve King's side could not repeat their late heroics in extra time of the replay and Obileye's header proved the difference after 120 minutes.
