Manager Ronny Deila says Celtic will do all they can to "ruin Fenerbahce's party" in Thursday's Europa League meeting.

Celtic will finish bottom of Group A and cannot reach the last 32 of the tournament.

Fenerbahce, who are second, are well placed to join current group leaders Molde in the next round but Ajax can overtake the Turkish side.

"The motivation is to win and to perform," Deila told BBC Scotland.

"It's a tough game. It's a good football team and it's a good atmosphere, it's harder to get points from.

"It's a good opportunity as well to make a good performance and fight really hard for getting a result.

"It's a good challenge for us. We'll do everything we can to ruin their party."

Fenerbahce trail Molde by two points but are two ahead of Ajax.

But Deila is keen to ensure Celtic, who have two points from five games, do not finish the group without a win.

"That's an important thing," added the Norwegian.

"We're going to use every experience to be even better next year and hopefully get into the Champions League.

"This is what we have to handle when we, hopefully, get into Europe next year and try to do better than we did this year.

"We're going to have a young team. It's going to be exciting to see how we can handle the game.

"It gives you so much confidence to play good in Europe and you take it with you into the domestic league as well.

"We have to defend very well, first of all. We need to cause them problems when we get the ball."
