Accrington Stanley's pitch flooded by heavy Boxing Day rain

Accrington Stanley have postponed their home fixture with Carlisle United because of heavy rain.

Parts of the League Two club's pitch are under water, rendering the surface unplayable.

Several other north-west clubs have also had to cancel their Boxing Day fixtures following, while the Met Office has issued a weather warning, external for parts of western Lancashire.
