Roma failed to ease the pressure on boss Rudi Garcia as they threw away the lead to draw against AC Milan.
Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring for Roma when he latched on to Miralem Pjanic's free kick.
Milan equalised five minutes into the second half through Juraj Kucka to leave Roma with one win in seven Serie A games.
Garcia's team are are five points ahead of sixth-placed Milan, but trail leaders Inter Milan by five points.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Fiorentina missed out on an opportunity to snatch top spot as they lost 3-1 at home to Lazio.
Keita Balde Diao gave Lazio a first-half lead and the visitors looked to have wrapped up the points when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic doubled the lead two minutes into added-on time with his maiden Serie A goal.
In a dramatic finish, Facundo Roncaglia reduced the deficit only for Felipe Anderson to hit Lazio's third.
Leaders Inter Milan, second-placed Napoli and fourth-placed Juventus are all in action on Sunday.
