Alloa Athletic A-A Greenock Morton

Bottom side Alloa Athletic were denied a potential second victory in a row after their Scottish Championship game against Greenock Morton was abandoned.

The Wasps were leading 1-0 at Recreation Park through Michael Duffy's 41st-minute opening goal.

But the game was called off by referee Alan Muir 22 minutes into the second half because of falling snow.

It became the second game abandoned in Scotland, following the League One game between Stenhousemuir and Brechin City.

Eight other games were postponed before kick-off because of frozen pitches.
