Reading striker Orlando Sa has left the club after completing a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv, just seven months after joining from Legia Warsaw for £1m.

Sa joins the Israeli Premier League champions on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The Portuguese, 27, scored five goals in 21 appearances, including a hat-trick against Ipswich in September.

Former Fulham player Sa has struggled for first-team opportunities since the return of manager Brian McDermott.
