Alan Browne: Irish midfielder signs new contract to stay at Preston until 2019

Midfielder Alan Browne has signed a new contract that will keep him at Preston until 2019.

The 20-year-old Irishman, who has scored twice in 33 appearances this season, joined the Championship side from Cork City in January 2014.

"Alan is still a young man and he is progressing all the time," manager Simon Grayson told the club website.

"We are looking forward to continue working with him and seeing his career develop with Preston North End."
