Prop Joe Marler has been cited for allegedly striking an opponent during England's Six Nations win over Wales.

Marler allegedly struck Rob Evans in the 15th minute of Saturday's match at Twickenham, which England won 25-21.

The 25-year-old forward, who plays his club rugby with Premiership side Harlequins, faces an independent disciplinary committee later this week.

Marler may face an investigation for calling Wales prop Samson Lee "Gypsy boy" in the same game.

On Sunday, Wales prop Tomas Francis was cited for "allegedly making contact with the eyes or eye area" of Dan Cole during the second half of Saturday's match.

England back row James Haskell was given a formal warning for a dangerous "neck roll" tackle.

Meanwhile, England head coach Eddie Jones says he will make tactical and personnel changes for Saturday's Grand Slam decider against France.

He said: "We have to improve the team. The thing I am looking at is how can I do that? Certainly, guys who have done well, if they train well can expect to play.

"But there will be some tactical changes we need to make for how we play against France."

Asked if Manu Tuilagi could start, Jones replied: "He is in contention but at this stage I would think that George Ford and Owen Farrell will start at 10 and 12."

Despite his side having been crowned champions, Jones insisted they are still to achieve their aim for the campaign.

He added: "We want to be the most dominant team in Europe, and to do that we have to win the Grand Slam. That has always been our aim and we haven't achieved that yet."
