Derry face a Drogheda side sitting third in the First Division

Derry City will start their FAI Cup against Drogheda United in a second-round encounter at the Brandywell.

The Candystripes will host their First Division opposition on the week ending 22 May.

Derry's last success in the competition came in 2012, courtesy of a 3-2 extra-time victory over St Patrick's Athletic at the Aviva Stadium.

Holders Dundalk open their defence against Shelbourne while Finn Harps welcome Crumlin United.
