Preston North End have released seven players and offered a new deal to midfielder Josh Brownhill.

Australian midfielder Neil Kilkenny and former England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland will be allowed to leave.

Kyel Reid and Andy Little, who spent time out on loan this term, as well as youngsters Jack Ryan, Nick Anderton and Josh Heaton will also be let go.

Midfielder Brownhill, 20, is on loan at League One play-off side Barnsley and has been offered a two-year deal.
