St Paul's have lost just five competitive games in two seasons under Paul's Brannan's guidance

St Paul's retained the Le Riche Cup as Paul Brannan ended his two years in charge of the Jersey champions with 9 trophies out of a possible 10.

Saints beat Trinity 3-2 in Wednesday's final at Springfield to lift the trophy for the sixth time in seven years.

Goals from Craig Russell, Michael Weir and Ben Cutting put the defending champions 3-0 up at the interval.

Karl Hinds and Barry Keith pulled goals back, before both were sent off in stoppage-time.

The game was Brannan's last in charge of St Paul's after he announced he would step down following Saturday's Upton win over Guernsey league champions Northerners.

Brannan, who says increased work commitments means he cannot devote enough time to his role at St Paul's, will be replaced by Stuart Andre, Craig Leitch and Jordan Docherty.
