Fleetwood Town boss Steven Pressley has targeted more signings after six new arrivals so far for next season.

Strikers Aaron Holloway and Ashley Nadesan, defenders Cian Bolder and Ashley Eastham goalkeepers Chris Neal and Alex Cairns have joined already.

The recruitment comes after the Cody Army secured their League One status in the final weeks of the campaign.

"We hope to retain several players that are out of contract and the club are in negotiations with them," said Pressley.

"We also still want to bring in several more players and bring in probably three or four more players in the group."

He told BBC Radio Lancashire: "Because of the loan window being how it is next season we want to be well covered in all areas of the pitch.

"We certainly probably need an additional midfield player, we probably need another two wide players and competition in the left-back area."

Pressley has also confirmed that midfielder Antoni Sarcevic, striker Shola Ameobi and left-back Danny Andrew will leave the club.
