League Two side Leyton Orient have signed Josh Doherty and Robbie Weir following their departures from Watford and Burton Albion respectively.

Left-back Doherty, 20, made one senior appearance for the Hornets and has signed an initial one-year contract, with the option of a second year.

Midfielder Weir, 27, has agreed a two-year deal at the Matchroom Stadium, with the option of a further year.

He spent four years with the Brewers, scoring nine goals in 184 appearances.

The pair are Andy Hessenthaler's first two signings since the 50-year-old was appointed as Orient manager on Friday.
