Aaron Morris: Gillingham midfielder signs new contract

Former Aldershot and AFC Wimbledon player Aaron Morris made 37 appearances for Gillingham last season

Gillingham midfielder Aaron Morris has signed a new two-year deal with the League One club.

The 26-year-old Welshman, who can also play in defence, has played 62 times since joining the Gills from AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2014.

"It's nice to get recognition for what I've contributed over the past couple of seasons," he told the club website.

"I feel we're moving forward and it's an exciting time to be a part of this team."
