Exeter City have re-signed centre-back Troy Archibald-Henville following his release by League Two rivals Carlisle.

Archibald-Henville made 130 appearances for the Grecians after joining on an initial loan deal in January 2009, before moving to Swindon in 2012.

The 27-year-old former Tottenham trainee signed for Carlisle in 2014 and played 37 games for the club.

Meanwhile, full-back Craig Woodman, 33, has signed a new undisclosed-length contract with Exeter.

Woodman has made 142 league appearances since signing for Exeter in July 2012.
