Plymouth Argyle left-back Ben Purrington has signed a new contract with the League Two side.

The 20-year-old made 16 appearances last season, including seven starts and nine as substitute.

He made his Pilgrims debut on Boxing Day 2013 after coming through the Devon side's youth system, and has also played games in a midfield role.

Purrington joins Louis Rooney and Luke McCormick in agreeing new deals, with seven players yet to accept offers.
