Eastleigh have signed Northampton centre-half Ryan Cresswell and Yeovil striker Ryan Bird for undisclosed fees.
Former Fleetwood and Southend player Cresswell, 28, joins the National League club on a three-year deal.
Forward Bird, 28, joins The Spitfires on a one-year contract having left Yeovil by mutual consent.
"The ambition and the direction the club's going in attracted me here," Cresswell told BBC Radio Solent. "It's something I want to be a part of."
Cresswell was part of the Cobblers side which won the League Two title last season, making 24 league appearances.
"I had a year left on my contract at Northampton," he added.
"I could've stayed there and trained hard and pushed for a starting berth, but the manager seemed to make his mind up early that he wanted to bring his own players in.
"I'm all for that, it's his choice. But, when this move came up, it wasn't something I could turn down."
