Michael Rose: Morecambe sign ex-Rochdale defender

Michael Rose was released after three seasons at Rochdale

Morecambe have signed defender Michael Rose on a one-year deal after the player was released by Rochdale.

The 34-year-old has made 484 league appearances, including spells at Norwich, Swindon and Colchester.

Manager Jim Bentley told the club website: "His vast experience will be vital for us this season. He is an excellent addition to our squad."

The Shrimps also announced deals for free agent Daniel Nizic and Liverpool player Jack Dunn over the weekend.
