The Republic of Ireland squad for the games against Oman and Serbia includes six players who missed out on the Euro 2016 finals in France.
Marc Wilson, Harry Arter, Paul McShane, David Forde, Alex Pearce, Eunan O'Kane and Callum O'Dowda are recalled by Republic boss Martin O'Neill.
The Irish take on Oman in a Dublin friendly before the World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Belgrade next month.
Record scorer Robbie Keane will play against Oman before retiring.
O'Neill has not included any uncapped players in the squad.
Blackburn defender Shane Duffy is suspended for the game in Belgrade following his red card in the Republic's last-16 defeat by the hosts in France.
Duffy will also miss the warm-up match against Oman which takes place at the Aviva Stadium five days before the World Cup qualifier on 5 September.
O'Neill includes three injury doubts
Seamus Coleman, John O'Shea and Jeff Hendrick are all named in the squad for both games despite currently being injured.
Everton full-back Coleman has been out for the last two weeks because of an ankle problem while O'Shea went off in the first half of Sunderland's defeat by Middlesbrough on Sunday with a groin injury.
Derby midfielder Hendrick, so impressive at Euro 2016, has been out of action for two weeks because of a hamstring injury and will miss his club's game against Burton Albion on Friday night.
Bournemouth pair Wilson and Arter were both ruled out of the Euro finals because of injury with their club-mate O'Kane missing the final selection cut.
Shay Given's international retirement means a recall for Millwall keeper Forde, who is currently on loan at Portsmouth.
With Duffy missing, Derby centre-back Pearce and Reading defender McShane are both included while Bristol City's O'Dowda earns a second call-up after winning his first cap in the final Euro 2016 warm-up game against Belarus.
