Arnold Garita: Plymouth Argyle sign Bristol City striker on loan until January

Garita was described as '£50,000 punt' when he was signed by then-City boss Steve Cotterill in January

Plymouth Argyle have signed Bristol City striker Arnold Garita on loan until 16 January.

The 21-year-old forward becomes the 15th new player to join the Pilgrims since they were beaten in the League Two play-off final in May.

The Cameroon-born forward moved to City from French side Chateauroux for £50,000 in January,.

He has made just one substitute appearance for the Robins, in the EFL Cup win at Wycombe earlier this month.

"We've been working individually with Arnie and he's really shown improvement in his game," City head coach Lee Johnson told the club's website.

"We feel he is now ready to go and fight for regular first-team football in League Two with Plymouth."
