Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has signed a new contract with the Premier League side, keeping him with the club until 2020.
The Denmark international, 24, has made 134 appearances for Tottenham since joining them from Ajax in August 2013.
Eriksen scored eight goals last season as Spurs finished third in the league.
"There is a great future at this place and I would not have signed if I did not see that," Eriksen told the club website., external
Manager Mauricio Pochettino said negotiations over a reported £70,000 a week contract may have affected the Dane's recent performances.
"Subconsciously maybe speculation can affect you when you're in process to negotiate your future," the Argentine boss said.
"[The contract] stops the rumours and he can be focused on playing football only. That is the last time that we talk about Eriksen's contract."
