Juventus have won five of their opening six Serie A games of the season

Juventus stayed at the top of Serie A after an own goal from Edoardo Goldaniga gave them victory over Palermo.

Juve, attempting to become Italian champions for the sixth straight season, were frustrated by keeper Josip Posavec for long spells.

The Croat denied Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro before Goldaniga deflected Dani Alves' effort into his own net.

Posavec, 20, produced another fine stop to keep out Mario Mandzukic's volley.

Juventus move on to 15 points, one more than second-placed Napoli, who beat Chievo 2-0.

Palermo are 16th, with one win in six games.
