Guernsey FC had won their last two matches after their worst-ever start to a season

Guernsey FC's away woes continued as they lost 1-0 at Lewes in Isthmian League Division One South.

The Green Lions has Dominic Heaume taken off with a head injury after 10 minutes before Marc McGrath and Ross Allen went close in the first half.

Jamie Brotherton got what proved to be the winner for the former Conference club as he got the final touch after a good move for the home side.

Guernsey hit the post soon after, while Allen's late effort went narrowly wide,

The result means Guernsey have still not won an away game in 2016 - their last victory on the road coming on 12 December last year - as Tony Vance's side drop to 17th in the division.
