Marvin Bartley was sent off against Raith Rovers

Hibernian's Marvin Bartley has had a red card overturned for the second time in his last three league starts.

The midfielder, 30, was dismissed in the first half of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Raith Rovers after referee Stephen Finnie ruled he had kicked out.

However, a Scottish FA disciplinary tribunal overturned the decision, downgrading it to a caution for "recklessly dangerous play".

Bartley's sending off against Ayr last month was also rescinded.

The Championship leaders were leading against Ayr at the time of the 67th-minute dismissal, with the visitors coming back to win at Easter Road.

At Stark's Park on Saturday, Neil Lennon's team had to play with 10 men for 53 minutes plus stoppage time.
