Paul Dummett says Newcastle United team-mate Aleksandar Mitrovic will pose a physical threat for Serbia against Wales.
Mitrovic, 22, has netted five goals for Newcastle this season and scored two goals in Serbia's 3-2 World Cup qualifying win over Austria in October.
Defender Dummett will join the Wales squad this week ahead of Saturday's World Cup qualifier in Cardiff.
"I'm sure they'll ask me a bit about him," Dummett said.
"I'll be giving them all the information I know about him to the coaching staff.
"He's a big physical presence and showed how much danger he caused in the game [the 2-1 win over Cardiff on Saturday] with how physical he is, when the ball goes in the box and how he holds it up.
"I'll give my thoughts to the manager and the other players and hopefully he doesn't have too much effect."
Dummett won the last of his two caps 12 months ago against the Netherlands in 3-2 friendly defeat and missed out on selection for Wales' 23-man Euro 2016 squad.
The 25-year-old admits he had mixed emotions watching Wales' run to the semi-finals in France.
"I was gutted when I didn't get into the final squad but those are the kind of disappointments you've have as a player," Dummett added.
"You have to get over it and carry on doing the best you can."
Dummett has featured in all but one of Newcastle's league games so far this season.
The left-back is in competition with Swansea City's Neil Taylor to start for Wales after Tottenham defender Ben Davies withdrew from the squad to face Serbia with an ankle injury.
"They're good players," Dummett said.
"I know I've got good competition and the manager is picking those players.
"All I've got to do is do the best I can for Newcastle and hopefully sometime I'll get a chance for Wales."
